The thing is, you’re *only* talking about the sexual harassment/assault/objectification/abuse issues here, but I know as a woman trying to be taken seriously in tech/gamingyou were subject to tons of other sexist/misogynistic crap. The sexual abuse and harassment are just the tip-top part of the island emerging from the ocean, but the foundation under the water is the general de-valuing of and disrespect for women.

And that foundation is also a big part of why we don’t speak up about the sexual harassment issues…because it’s already just so hard.

I’m sorry for every single incident you mention here…and all the ones you probably had but didn’t mention.
